Main duties of the job

As an Activities Driver, your focus will be on providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while ensuring quality service. Other responsibilities include assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, and helping them onto and out of the vehicle, as well as providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed. You will be expected to attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training and comply with all safety procedures.

  • Providing transportation services for residents.
  • Assisting residents with any special needs during transportation, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle, and assisting residents to the point of destination required.
  • Always focusing on driving; directs tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion.
  • Providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.
