Job summary
This is a role as a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes that impact their care, implementing and evaluating person-centred care plans, supporting residents with medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals, ensuring any reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated. The successful candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
