Job summary

This Maintenance Operative role at Avery Healthcare's Aldridge location is a temporary position that requires someone with at least one year of experience in general maintenance or a trade qualification. Main duties of the job

As a Maintenance Operative, your focus will be on ensuring the building and grounds are well-maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to keep the facilities fully functional. Other responsibilities include carrying out general maintenance and repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their rooms, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, advising on supplies and ordering replacements, and providing out-of-hours emergency service.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Supporting new residents to arrange their room as they wish.
  • Ensuringroutine re-decoration is undertaken asrequiredtomaintainthe standards in thehome.
  • Advisingon the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring thetimelyandappropriate orderingof replacement goods.
  • Providingout of hours emergency service,participatingin the on-call rota.

  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
