They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as a Chef de Partie, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in providing a high-quality culinary service that contributes to the overall wellbeing of the residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Chef de Partie, your focus will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service. This will include preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, supporting cost-effective stock control systems, and working with the leadership team to develop and review the menu on a regular basis. You will also be responsible for taking part in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree on catering functions across the home, and to address special needs or dietary requirements of residents.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Supporting cost-effective stock control systems to minimise waste and ensure these are in place.
  • Working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis.

  • Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
