Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with their personal hygiene and ensuring their comfort and safety during the night. You will also be required to recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infection, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be expected to act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each individual. The role also involves practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
