Job summary

This is a Temporary Housekeeping Assistant role at Avery Healthcare in Knowle. The role involves ensuring high standards of cleanliness and laundry in the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect.

Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team to maintain all standards of cleanliness and laundry in the home, operating according to Avery Healthcare's standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. Additionally, you will be required to treat all residents with dignity and respect, and always respect their personal space and belongings.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

  • Carrying out all cleaning dutiesin accordance withworksheetinstructions.
  • Understandingthe cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials, ensuring that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
