Job summary
This is a Senior Care Assistant role at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The role involves supporting the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, monitoring the wellbeing of residents, and ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and strong communication skills.
Main duties of the job
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals.
