Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. Your focus will be on ensuring high standards of care for the residents, including undertaking nursing tasks such as distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, as well as effectively deploying and supervising the care team to ensure all tasks are completed during your shift.
