Job summary
This role as a Sous Chef at Avery Healthcare in Basingstoke is a temporary position. The focus will be on supporting the head chef in leading a culinary team that provides high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals for the residents. The successful candidate will have relevant catering qualifications, at least 1 year of experience, and demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering excellent culinary services.
Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include preparing modified diets that are appealing and well-balanced, supervising and directing the work of culinary staff, ensuring food preparation meets the highest hygiene standards, and supporting the team in understanding the Avery Food safety management system.
