They are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Care Assistant to join their award-winning team in Hinckley. This role involves delivering high-quality personal care, recognizing and addressing clinical risks, and providing respectful and compassionate support to residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for assisting residents with their personal hygiene care, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect. You will also need to recognize and understand clinical risk areas in residents, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and risk of falls, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Additionally, you will be expected to act courteously towards residents and their visitors, practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
