Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centered care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and health/social care professionals. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff, and the ability to be responsive and flexible.
