Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Other responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, reporting changes in residents' condition, and supporting the ordering and preparation of supplies for activities. You should have effective communication skills, an understanding of the role of interaction in well-being, a positive attitude towards older people, and previous experience working with older people in a residential or nursing setting.
