Job summary
This role as a Sous Chef at Avery Healthcare offers the opportunity to work in an award-winning team, providing exceptional care and support to residents. You will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in leading a culinary team, ensuring nutritionally balanced and high-quality meals are prepared within budget. Main duties of the job
As a Sous Chef, your focus will be to support the Head Chef in leading a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service, which contributes to the overall well-being of the residents and is achieved within budget. Other responsibilities will include preparing modified diets that look appealing and are well-balanced, supervising and directing the work of culinary staff, and ensuring all food preparation meets the highest hygiene standards.
