This role as a Kitchen Assistant at Avery Healthcare's Alice Court Care Home in Eastbourne offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on residents' lives every day. Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for understanding the principles of safe food handling, contributing to team working, advising on the supply and quality of items, and acting with respect and care towards the residents.

  • Understanding the principles of safe food handling, to ensure all food preparations undertaken in the kitchen is to the highest standards of hygiene.
  • Contributingfully to team working, responding positively tocolleagues,and actioning all reasonable work instructions promptly.
  • Advisingon the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks, ensuring thetimelyandappropriate orderingof replacement goods.
  • Actingaccordingly towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
