Job summary
The role of Chef de Partie at Avery Healthcare is focused on supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to lead a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive and high-quality culinary service, which contributes to the overall wellbeing of the residents. The successful candidate will have a catering qualification, food hygiene certification, and at least 1 year of catering experience, demonstrating compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality culinary services.
Main duties of the job
As a Chef de Partie, your responsibilities will include taking part in meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss and agree catering functions across the home, preparing nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, supporting cost-effective stock control systems, and working with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review the menu on a regular basis. You will be expected to live the company's values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.
