Job summary
This role is for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare's care home in Chorleywood. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes, implementing and evaluating person-centred care plans, supporting residents with medication, and supervising and developing care staff. You will also act as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals. To be successful, you should have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude towards supporting both residents and staff.
