Main duties of the job
As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required. You will ensure high standards of care for the residents, undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and that residents receive the required care. Additionally, you will advise families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions, keeping them informed and involved in the ongoing care.
