Job summary
As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring resident wellbeing, implementing and evaluating person-centered care plans, supporting with medication, and acting as a key point of contact for residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
