Job summary
This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in a supportive and caring environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the Wellbeing Coordinator to plan and deliver a range of engaging activities that promote the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, your primary focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide variety of activities to engage and stimulate the residents. This will involve maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting any changes in residents' conditions, and assisting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities. You will also help to establish links with the local community to encourage access and promote intergenerational activities.
