Main duties of the job

As a Purchase Ledger Administrator at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, maintaining strong financial controls across the care home operations. Your key duties will include invoice matching, coding, and posting, as well as handling supplier queries and reconciling statements. You will also be required to build relationships with internal and external bodies, answer telephone and email queries, check payment runs for errors and duplicates, and set up and verify suppliers.

Your focus asPurchase Ledger Administratorwill be to ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and maintaining strong financial controls across our care home operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for invoice matching, coding, and posting, as well as handling supplier queries and reconciling statements.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Building a relationship with internal and external bodies
  • Answering telephone and email queries
  • Checking payment runs for errors and duplicates
  • Setting up and verification of suppliers
