Job summary
The role of Activities Driver at Avery Healthcare involves providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, ensuring they receive quality service. The candidate must have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record, attend periodic CPC training, and demonstrate knowledge of safety precautions and the ability to react calmly in emergencies.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Driver, your primary responsibility will be to provide transportation services for residents, assisting them with any special needs during the journey, such as carrying packages, opening doors, and helping them onto and out of the vehicle. You will also be required to focus on driving and direct tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff while the vehicle is in motion. Additionally, you may be asked to provide miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed.
