Main duties of the job

As a Maintenance Operative at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to ensure the building and grounds are well maintained, undertaking a variety of routine maintenance tasks, checks to services, and applying basic fixes to equipment and systems to ensure facilities are fully functional. Other responsibilities will include carrying out general maintenance tasks and basic repairs, supporting new residents to arrange their room, ensuring routine re-decoration is undertaken, and advising on the supply and quality of items used to carry out tasks. You will also be required to provide an out-of-hours emergency service and participate in the on-call rota.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Hold a full driving licence.

  • Be able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
