Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Your key responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff development. To be successful in this role, you must live Avery's values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable, and have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes, 2 years' experience in a similar care environment, and strong communication skills.
