Job summary
Avery Healthcare, one of the UK's largest providers of luxury elderly care homes, is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator to join their award-winning team. This role focuses on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Main duties of the job
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. You will need to have previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or Dementia setting, as well as excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward older people.
