Job summary
This is a temporary role as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare's care home in Purley. The role involves supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing engaging activities to enhance the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of the residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will focus on supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents. Other responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, reporting any changes in residents' condition, and supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities. The ideal candidate should have effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards older people, and previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or nursing setting.
