Job summary
Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their award-winning team as an Activities Driver. This role involves providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities, while ensuring quality service and assisting residents with any special needs during transportation.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Driver, your responsibilities will include providing transportation services for residents, assisting residents with special needs during transportation, focusing on driving while directing tasks and passenger interactions to onboard support staff, and providing miscellaneous pickup and delivery services as needed. You must have a PCV license with Cat D1 and an acceptable driving record, attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training, be knowledgeable of safety precautions, and be able to react calmly in emergencies.
