Job summary
This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents in a caring and supportive environment. The focus will be on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while understanding the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents.
Main duties of the job
As a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. You will need to have previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting, as well as effective communication skills and a positive attitude toward older people.
