Job summary
The Regional Support Manager role at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the Regional Director to manage a region/group of care homes, ensuring achievement of performance targets and optimum operational efficiency. The role requires experience in care home management, supporting homes at a regional level, and supervising staff development.
Main duties of the job
As a Regional Support Manager, your focus will be to provide support and focus in key homes, ensure compliance to standards, support transition processes following acquisitions, identify problem areas and make recommendations, and interpret information to support regional performance against quality indicators. You will need to have demonstrable experience in care home management roles, regional-level support, and staff supervision and development, as well as an NVQ 5 or equivalent in Care for Care Homes.
