Main duties of the job

As a Residential Care Manager, your focus will be to manage the group of Care Supervisors within the home, ensuring a high-quality delivery of personal care to residents. You will be an advocate for all residents, maintaining their best interests in all areas of their wellbeing. Other responsibilities include coordinating the resident assessment process, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring compliance with medication management and quality assurance procedures.

  • Managing the process of ensuring that all equipment is stored in line with the manufacturer'sinstructionsand is cleanedandstored appropriatelyafteruse.
  • Ensuringcompliance with theSafe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing procedures.
  • UndertakingQualityCareSpotChecksreportingonthe qualityofcareprovidedbyCareSupervisors, CarersandSeniorCarers withintheir team.
