Job summary

This is a role as a Housekeeping Assistant at Crispin Court Care Home, part of the Avery Healthcare group. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry across the care home, while treating residents with dignity and respect.

Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team to ensure all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to the care home's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, maintaining hotel-level service standards. Other responsibilities include carrying out cleaning duties as per instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and respecting residents' personal space and belongings.

  • Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings and the properties of cleaning materials,ensuringthat all areas are well presented andmaintainedin good condition.
  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
