Job summary

This is a Housekeeper Assistant role at Avery Healthcare's Miramar Care Home in Herne Bay, Kent. The successful candidate will be part of a team ensuring all cleaning and laundry standards are maintained to a high level in the care home. The role requires compassion, enthusiasm, and a commitment to delivering excellent housekeeping and laundry services to the residents.

Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeper Assistant, your focus will be to work as part of a team, ensuring that all standards of cleanliness and laundry are maintained in the home. You will operate according to the care home's standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring that hotel service standards are maintained. Other responsibilities will include carrying out cleaning duties, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, and ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect.

  • Ensuring that all residents are treated with dignity and respect and that their personal space and belongings are always respected.
