Job summary
The role of a Support Worker at Enable is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals with complex support needs, delivering positive person-centred outcomes. The job involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues, encouraging independence and enabling them to live as independently as possible within their own homes and access the local community.
Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for offering a range of support to individuals, including encouraging them to play active roles in their communities, supporting with activities of daily living, effective communication, promoting and motivating people, supporting those who may need positive behavioural support, and keeping accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances. You will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role.
