Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to the residents, including companionship, personal care, medication management, meal support, domestic tasks, and supporting mobility and social activities. What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Opportunities available:
  • Night Care Assistant @ 42 hours per week working from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
  • Bank Care Assistant, with this role you must have the flexibility to work day shifts, nights shifts and alternative weekends as and when required
  • For these roles you are required to have experience working within a care home

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
