Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join Agincare as a Night Senior Care Assistant at their Waterloo care home in Wimborne. Main duties of the job
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and oral care within their preferences, and actively promoting their right to choice and independence. You will also contribute to and carry out care reviews, administer residents' medication, lead and participate in trips and activities, and potentially support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development. The role requires at least 12 months' right to work in the UK, a minimum of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), and at least two years' experience working in a social care environment, preferably with vulnerable people over 65 and good knowledge and experience of dementia.
