What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• Experience working within a care home
• Opportunities Available:
• Care Assistant @ 42 hours per week to work a mix of day and night shifts to include alternative weekends
• Bank Care Assistant
• For the bank care assistant role you must have the flexibility to work day shifts, nights shifts and alternative weekends as and when required

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care.
• Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

Qualifications

Essential

• A minimum of 12 months' experience working in a care home setting is required. You should also have the right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.
