Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include providing companionship, personal care, medication administration, meal support, and light domestic tasks to help the residents maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with the nursing and care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for the residents.

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Opportunities Available:
  • Care Assistant at 42 hours per week to work from 8am to 8pm to include working alternative weekends
  • Bank Care Assistant to work from 8am to 8pm to include working alternative weekends
  • Previous experience required working in a care home is required for these roles

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providingsupport, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower andsupporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility -Supporting the client to live asindependently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
