Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant at Agincare, you'll be providing companionship, personal care, medication support, meal assistance, and social activities to help clients live as independently as possible. What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • Opportunities Available:
  • Day Care Assistant to work 42 hours per week from 8am to 8om to include alternative weekends
  • Night Care Assistant to work 24 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
  • Night Care Assistant to work 36 hours per week from 8pm to 8am to include alternative weekends
  • Previous experience is required for these roles

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providingsupport, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower andsupporting the client with dressing and oral care.
  • Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility -Supporting the client to live asindependently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities- Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
