Job summary
This role as a Support Worker with Enable in Stoke On Trent offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals with complex support needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred support, promoting independence and quality of life for the people they work with.
Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker, you will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to your role. You will be supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs, and will be responsible for encouraging active participation in the community, supporting activities of daily living, effective communication, promoting quality of life, and providing positive behavioral support. Additionally, you will be required to keep accurate records and report changes in the health or circumstances of the service users to management.
