Job summary

The Domestic Care Assistant role at Agincare Homes Holdings in Swanage, Dorset involves ensuring the communal areas of the Gainsborough Care Home are kept clean and safe for residents and employees. A day in the life of a Housekeeper

  • Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
  • Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
  • Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Companionship- Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
