Main duties of the job
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be in charge of creating an activities plan, both internally and with external resources, to provide companionship, support, and engagement for the residents. This may include event planning, such as summer BBQs or Christmas parties, as well as organising trips out, social activities, and in-home activities to cater to different abilities. You will be in regular communication with residents to understand their interests and preferences, and work to bring those activities to fruition. The role also involves supporting residents' mobility and independence through activities like Zumba, ballroom dancing, and balloon tennis.
