Main duties of the job

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. This may include assisting with personal care, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments or social activities. You will work closely with the client and their families to understand their needs and preferences, and to deliver a personalized care plan that promotes their independence and wellbeing. The role requires good people skills, a kind and compassionate nature, and the ability to work flexibly, including alternate weekends.
