Job summary

The Croft care home in Amersham is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to join their welcoming and specialized support team. Main duties of the job

As a Housekeeper at The Croft, your responsibilities will include communal cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents' bedrooms, and collaborating with the home management team to meet the standards of hygiene and cleanliness. You will also provide support, communication, and engagement to residents, offering companionship and a friendly presence.

A day in the life of a Housekeeper

  • Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
  • Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
  • Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Companionship- Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
