Job summary
The role of a Support Worker at Enable is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and deliver positive person-centred outcomes for people with complex support needs. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, have great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs.
Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging people to play active roles in their communities, supporting activities of daily living, communicating effectively using people's chosen methods, engaging and motivating people to enhance their quality of life, providing positive behavioural support, and keeping accurate records and reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management. You will be working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
