The role of an Activities Coordinator at Agincare is to provide companionship, plan engaging activities, and organize events for the residents in their care. This is a rewarding position that allows you to make a real difference in the lives of the elderly.
Main duties of the job
As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing an activities plan, both internally and with external resources, to keep the residents entertained and engaged. You will also be involved in planning events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, and communicating with external entertainers or businesses to arrange visits for the residents. Additionally, you will support the residents' mobility and independence through activities like Zumba, ballroom dancing, and balloon tennis.
