Main duties of the job

As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will ensure that residents receive person-centred care including bathing, dressing, and oral care within their preferences, actively promote their right to choice and independence. You will contribute to and carry out care reviews, administer residents' medication safely and supportively, lead and participate in trips, social engagements, and activities within the home. You may also support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called upon to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
