Main duties of the job

As a Domestic Care Assistant - Bank, your responsibilities will include communal cleaning, thorough dusting, polishing, and vacuuming of residents' bedrooms, and collaborating with the home management team to ensure the home meets the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. You may also be asked to provide some personal care support to the residents. A day in the life of a House keeper:

  • Communal cleaning ensure the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees
  • Domestic tasks -dust, polish and vacuum residents bedrooms thoroughly and ensuring use of appropriate warning signs when required
  • Collaboration - work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Companionship- Provide support, communication and engagement to residents.
  • Personal care- at times we might ask you to support with personal care
