Main duties of the job

As the Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring clients receive safe, responsive, and compassionate care. What your role will involve

Youll be the driving force behind service quality, team development, and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring clients understand their care options and receive support that promotes dignity, choice, and independence
  • Reviewing and adapting care plans to meet changing physical and mental health needs
  • Working closely with clients, families, staff, health professionals, and social workers to deliver seamless, personalised care
  • Leading on audits, quality checks, and rapid action plans to maintain high standards
  • Ensuring robust risk assessments are in place to protect clients and staff
  • Recruiting, training, supporting, and developing your team
  • Managing performance and staffing levels to ensure safe, consistent service delivery
  • Investigating safeguarding concerns or complaints and ensuring all required notifications are completed
What youll bring
  • At least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK
  • QCF Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Strong knowledge of home care, CQC requirements, and service management
  • Proven leadership skills and experience supporting vulnerable people
  • Previous registration in a home care service (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
