Job summary
The role of a Support Worker at Agincare involves making a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals with complex support needs. The job requires enthusiastic individuals with great people skills and a positive, proactive approach to supporting people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health, and complex needs.
Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging people to play active roles in their communities, supporting their activities of daily living, effectively communicating using their chosen methods, promoting and motivating them to enhance their quality of life, and supporting those who may need positive behavioural support approaches. You will also be required to keep accurate records and report any changes in the health or circumstances of the service users to management.
