Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker at Enable, you will be responsible for encouraging individuals to play active roles in their communities and promoting independence. Your daily tasks will include supporting activities of daily living, such as social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals, and budgeting. You will also be required to communicate effectively using the individuals' chosen methods, engage in promoting and motivating them to enhance their quality of life, and provide positive behavioral support approaches. Accurate record-keeping and reporting changes in the health or circumstances of service users to management are also essential aspects of the role.
