Job summary
The job of a Support Worker at Enable involves making a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and delivering positive person-centred outcomes for people with complex support needs. The role requires enthusiasm, great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach to supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.
Main duties of the job
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for encouraging people to play active roles in their communities, supporting activities of daily living, communicating effectively using people's chosen methods, engaging and motivating people to enhance their quality of life, providing positive behavioural support approaches, and keeping accurate records and reporting changes in the health or circumstances of service users to management. You will work as part of a team, as well as be able to work using your own initiative.
